About the Photographer

Evan discovered his passion for photography in high school, where he also stepped into the world of video and creative direction through a nationally ranked student broadcast journalism program. By senior year, the program had earned top honors in the country—an early sign that storytelling would play a central role in his career.

After realizing he had far too active an imagination for the strict facts of journalism, he decided to pursue creative photography and film while he earned a liberal arts degree in advertising and public relations. During those first years of adulthood he involved himself on movie sets, shot weddings, sold fine-art prints, and got his first taste of architecture through an international design/build program for solar-powered homes.

After college, Evan ventured out from the midwest and developed his aesthetic while photographing real estate in the Portland, Oregon market. He focused on architectural photography, creative video, and social media content while serving as the Media and Creative Director for a top five real estate team in Oregon.

In 2020, Evan relocated to Hanover, New Hampshire, while his wife pursued her MBA. There, he launched his own media company and continued to build a diverse portfolio. The two of them are now putting down permanent roots in Denver, CO.

Even when he isn't commissioned, Evan is usually behind the camera helping friends with projects or hunting for unique compositions in nature. When the camera isn't around you'll find him hiking, skiing, riding his bike, reading sci-fi, or mixing a cocktail for friends. A few fun facts: Evan once gave a Congressional address in D.C. extolling the value of a liberal arts education, and his most unusual assignment to date? Photographing an open-casket funeral in college.
